The Severne Blade 5.3m2 used windsurfing sail in average condition is for wave use.
The Blade has a versatile design suited to onshore or sideshore wave conditions. The power comes from low down and central allowing the sailor to drive hard through turns and remain partially powered at all times. The R&D work has resulted in a design which size for size has been tuned to give a consitent feel. The larger sail sizes have a lower power zone, with the leech twist to provide a more open head section. As sizes reduce the sails have progressively higher power zones with a very even leech twist which creates the more uniform 'feel' stated above.
