The XR Race windsurfing sail is for Freerace / Race use.
Tushingham have stepped up the mark following the re-emergence of the Raceboard fleet for course racing, developing the XR Race specifically for this market. They have produced an ‘all-round’ racing sail capable of delivering race winning performance across a range of conditions.
The sail is cut with a fuller profile and tighter leech than conventional sails, however, remains flexible enough to pump efficiently and retains stability to handle a strong blow.
Adjustable downhaul and outhaul systems are a must to extract the maximum performance from these sails across a range of conditions and points of sail.
