Fast and loose compact shapes with CAD shaped rocker lines and full flowing rails for slashing, carving, freeriding and sliding. Perhaps our most versatile shape the Freewave comes in 75, 85, 95, 105 and 115 sizes. There’s more wave bias in the smaller models and early planing, blasting and freestyle performance in the larger styles. The FreeWave 75 comes with a US box to reflect it’s surfier style and the rest feature the Powerbox the established standard for freestyle, freewave and freeride hulls.
All models are available in either Light Finish Custom Wood Sandwich or elite feather weight Team Edition (TE) with Carbon and Kevlar deck; Carbon bottom lay up plus unique faded metallic airbrush and sexy polished base and rail effects.

Carbon Kevlar Light Technology
The lightest and most impact resistant Carbon Kevlar, combined with a double PVC and Wood Sandwich and Wood/Carbon Heel Reinforcements guarantees the most efficient construction in terms of light weight with maximum impact resistance. The Team Editions of NewWave, NewWave Twin, Quad and FreeWave benefit from a double sandwich deck with Carbon Kevlar layups, plus Carbon bottom layups. The Skate Team Edition has a single sandwich deck of Carbon Kevlar and a Carbon bottom. New for 2011 is the use of special wood and pvc stringers, for extra stiffness and reinforcement in the bases, according to range of use each is slightly different. All of these models are produced with the Light Finish sanded look, for extra weight savings, whilst the new polished and airbrushed rails and bases are the ultimate optic for 2011!

On every 2011 board is a small “Fanatic Ocean Minded” logo this is to signify Fanatic’s commitment to protecting the environment and researching more environment friendly materials, in all our products. Every detail of our constructions, packaging, printing and accessories is constantly analysed to try and improve our “footprint” on the environment, not an easy task as composite materials are not the most eco friendly. However plenty of resins, sandwich foams, eva pads and laminates are already being developed with a more green approach in mind, Fanatic is a leader in testing and further developing these and other materials.
