The professional approach and experience of our team pushed us to come up with the most complete SL range. Our riders dominated in all conditions, no matter if they used the small sizes in high winds or big sizes in light winds. Because of the great success in the PWA tour there was no need at all to invent the wheel allover again and Werner and the riders concentrated on simply further developing the existing concept.

Easy sailing and control is a major factor in top level racing. When they approach the first mark, they are totally maxed out and have to fight for every centimeter to come out on top. In this situation even top professionals need a board they can rely on, that stays controllable no matter how choppy and hectic it might get on the race course so that they can focus on getting into the best position.

Keeping that in mind we further refined the outline and tail width. The key factor for excellent control is an even load distribution on both feet. The slightly wider tail and more parallel outline guarantees a more parallel stance and even pressure on both feet. An additional advantage coming from the new outline is the better acceleration out of the gybe due the bigger planing/ surface area at the tail.

The Race Deck also has been further developed and made slightly higher to create a better connection to the board. It offers a raised area underneath your forefoot and toes which provides unknown comfort and control when going at full speed. You easily stay connected to the board no matter how strong the wind gets. You never feel like you are getting pulled out of your straps and need to bend up your toes to stay in the straps.
