The Fanatic Shark High Resistance Skin HRS new windsurfing board is for freeride use.
From smooth, graceful cruising to lightning speed super tight turns. Forgiving to intermediates, the Shark's lack no bite in hard carving or top end control. A CAD proven scoop rocker, comfy domed decks and compact outline offer a sweet sensation that’s both easy to use and push to the limits. The five durable shapes supply awesome value in High Resistance Skin (HRS) with Powerbox fins, and the key 135 and 150 LTD models are also available bio friendly Carbon Kevlar Basalt Sandwich light construction.

High Resistance Skin
Fanatics high resistance composite technology is an optimum weight and durable construction for every day use. A thick durable outer skin gives the board's hull a high strength, ding and impact resistance. Whilst strategic use of glass reinforcements ensures an adequate stiffness. This construction is also used on the standard Shark as well as the Viper and Ripper ranges in combination with a user friendly EVA deck.
Fanatic Ocean Minded
On every 2012 board is a small “Fanatic Ocean Minded” logo this is to signify Fanatic’s commitment to protecting the environment and researching more environment friendly materials, in all our products. Every detail of our constructions, packaging, printing and accessories is constantly analysed to try and improve our “footprint” on the environment, not an easy task as composite materials are not the most eco friendly. However plenty of resins, sandwich foams, eva pads and laminates are already being developed with a more green approach in mind, Fanatic is a leader in testing and further developing these and other materials.
