The SKYWATCH Eole wind meter is a new hand held anemometer that measures wind speed.
This pocket sized wind speed meter gives you a choice of 3 wind speed measurement modes: current wind speed, average wind speed for the last 3 seconds / 24 hours and maximum wind speed. The Eole uses a cup type impeller, which is considered to be more accurate than propeller type of anemometers in shifting winds.
Simple to use this handheld anemometer does not include complicated and seldom used features, press one button and instant readings are at your fingertips. Current wind speed is calculated every second and an average is calculated every 3 seconds. You can select different units from km/h, mph, knots, m/s to fps as the digital wind speed readout on the large LCD panel. In addition to the digital readout, the LCD panel also displays a Beaufort scale bar graph whose reading corresponds to the digital readout.
