I have been using these Rushwind mast bases for a couple of years now with my wave kit and I can honestly say that for the money there is no better product in the market place. As with all mast bases I'd recommend you buy either the North or Pro-Limit mast base protector - especially if like me you sail bare foot... should be renamed toe protector in my opinion ;-)
