Compared to the previous generation, the 377L improves its light wind performance: thicker to help to get on the rails quicker, avoid diving and improve gilde over waves. The new slanted mast track is placed 2 cm further back while the daggerboard is 2cm further forward, making the board more sensitive in light winds and getting it on rail quicker. To enhance early planing, the bat wings are 3cm wider at 60cm before narrowing in the tail for more top end speed and a better feel of the fin.
The Phantom 377L focuses on light wind performance. It is thicker, with new mast track and daggerboard positions and a new outline. Recommended for sailors over 80 kg with the volume 331lts.
Bat wing design
Slightly lifted rockerline for a smooth ride over the chop
Slanted adjustable mast track: the front section is raised, helping the board to roll up onto its rail quickly in light winds. The back section is sunk below deck level to improve control in full-planing mode
Multiple foot straps positions for the back foot combined with the Bat-Wings allow for easy reaching
