The Duotone Ultra FreeWave 2.0 D/LAB is a freewave board for intermediate to advanced riders. It is built in FULL CUSTOM D/LAB Technology: CNC-shaped and handcrafted from Carbon and Innegra/Kevlar for a crisp ride sensation, high dent-resistance, and an unmatched weight-to-strength ratio.
The shape starts from a new-school freestyle board foundation, which gives the Ultra FreeWave 2.0 D/LAB its explosive acceleration and pop. From there the outline is tuned for side-on wave conditions up to logo-high, so the board holds its own on full top-and-bottom turns as well. The fin setup switches the character: run a tri-fin and the board commits hard on the rail; run a single fin and it stays fast and crisp through freestyle maneuvers and in a straight line.
Version 2.0 introduces two shape updates. A domier deck around the footstrap area improves riding comfort especially during long sessions. A new tail outline sharpens turnability so every turn initiates cleanly on demand.
This freewave board is made to order. You pick the size, you pick the color, and it ships directly to your door with a unique serial number. The matching fin is included, developed in-house by the same team that shapes the board, for a board-fin system that performs as one unit. The Ultra FreeWave 2.0 D/LAB covers Freewave, Freestyle, and Bump and Jump in a single board.

CNC SHAPED ONLY
All our boards are CNC shaped now which is not only much more accurate, but opens more decisive advantages compared to the traditional mould construction method which allows us to implement new shapes at any time.
AI_BOARD_3D DESIGN SOFTWARE
In contrast to the industry-standard Shape3d program, our own exclusive 3D CAD software is based on math data-driven input. This allows us to cross-check the outcome using artificial intelligence to ensure maximum precision. Apart from being much more accurate and faster, complex 3D design tasks such as our ground-breaking SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT would otherwise have been simply impossible to realize.
PRODUCTION FOCUSED DEVELOPMENT
Every single prototype is made in our exclusive factory using the exact same process and materials as the production boards. This way, each prototype has exactly the same weight and flex and therefore feels identical to the board you get.
