The Ultra FreeWave 2.0 SLS is a freewave windsurf board for intermediate to advanced riders. It covers bump and jump, side-on waves, and freestyle in a single versatile shape.
The Ultra FreeWave 2.0 freewave board was built around a potent new-school freestyle shape. Acceleration and pop come first. The board is then tuned to perform as a capable wave board in logo-high side-on waves. The outcome is a freewave windsurf board that never feels dull: crisp and responsive in a straight line, sharp and precise through the turn. The new tail outline sharpens that responsiveness even further, making the board turn tighter and more spontaneously. You commit to the rail, and it follows.
New for the 2.0: a domier deck around the footstrap area delivers noticeably improved riding comfort especially across longer sessions. Your feet stay planted and relaxed even in choppy, powered-up conditions, so you can focus on the next move instead of managing fatigue.
The convertible fin setup is one of the board's defining strengths. Run the tri-fin configuration to unlock serious wave performance in top and bottom turns. Switch to a single fin for freestyle focus and a more driven, exciting feel.
Built in Duotone's Full Custom SLS construction, the Ultra FreeWave 2.0 SLS uses S_GLASS+ reinforcement for a light, durable build that holds its shape over many seasons of hard use.
